Can I bring my own buffet?

Unfortunately we do not allow you to arrange your own catering as we want to ensure consistent quality which reflects the high standards of our Summat To Ate restaurant. We do of course allow you to bring your own celebration cake (wedding cake/birthday cake etc)

How do I book a room?

We advise you to give us a quick call on 01942 255150 to check availability on your desired date. We then would require a deposit to book the room for you. Unfortunately due to the popularity of our rooms we do not hold a room without a deposit and rooms are sold on a first come first serve basis.

How much is the deposit?

The deposit is £150 for the small room and £250 for the large room.

What does the deposit cover?
The deposit is forfeited if you cancel your event or need to alter your date. The deposit also covers against any damage once the room is in use. The deposit is refunded after the event via cheque.
What time is last orders?

We are licensed until midnight and therefore we call last orders at 11:30pm and stop serving at 11:45pm. Any music must finish no later than midnight.

How long can I use the room for?

For christenings/funerals and other day time events we allow a maximum of 5 hours usage of the rooms however for other events we are flexible and happy to discuss the most suitable times of use with you.

Are the bar prices expensive?

We have ensured our drinks prices are competitive and offer great deals on doubles and shots also so you can enjoy your event. We are happy to discuss these when you come in to view the rooms.

Do I need to make a booking to view the rooms?

Ideally, we would like to know when you are coming. Firstly so we can your function room is available on the date your require and secondly, so we have the staff available to spend the time with you that your event deserves. 

Is there parking?

Yes, there is limited on-street parking and several public car parks to the rear and side which are free to use.

Accessibility...

We are fully accessible with disables toilets on each floor, a lift to all floors and baby changing facilities throughout the building. We also have highchairs available for use.

Do you recommend a DJ/Venue Dressers?

We are happy to recommend local businesses that we have used previously, however, we take no responsibility for the product/service that they provide.

Do you do business events/conferences?

Yes, we do, however as these vary vastly we would need to come up with a bespoke price for you. Quickly give us a ring on 01942 255150 to discuss.
